Personal Update
The past three years have been a major life transition for Bev and me. Though it has been a challenging journey, we are grateful that the Lord has brought us through a season of change and established us on clear path forward.
Travel
I will begin traveling more extensively in 2025, but it will look a little different than it has in the past. Though Bev’s health has improved, we don’t feel comfortable with her traveling internationally. I will travel solo for the time being with more frequent trips of shorter duration.
Health
Like Caleb said to Joshua: I am as strong now as I was when Moses sent me on that journey, and I can still travel and fight as well as I could then. So give me the hill country that the Lord promised me. —Joshua 14:11-12.
I have been faithful to care for my body over the past forty years, and my goal has always been to preserve myself for this season. I’ve declared this publicly and maintained a private conviction. But I can say, too, that the Lord has given me a grace.
Ministry Finances
Since I have not traveled stateside over the past three years, my monthly ministry income has declined. The Lord told me earlier this year to expect that decline, and I shared that with Bev so that it would not be a surprise to her. But I also believe that the Lord spoke to me that after a season, he would increase us with new streams of revenue that would not require me to itinerate and speak publicly.
As we enter 2025, consider partnering with me monthly. I have much to give to the leaders I serve in India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. I will continue to keep you informed on the work and will use your investment wisely. My faith goal is to travel for the next seven years and retire when I turn eighty. I am fully convinced that I have the stamina and strength to complete that journey and am trusting the Lord for my continued health.
Grateful to Him!
